Mount Rainier Tour
Tour Mount Rainier National Park from Seattle
Description
Description
- The locals take the high ground for granted, but for you it will be an absolutely unforgettable sight. We invite you to feel the beauty of this pearl of the city too!
- Mount Rainier is a long-dormant volcano, at the foot of which Indian tribes used to live, and now there is a magnificent park. When European explorers explored the Pacific Northwest in the second half of the 19th century, they came to a land that was already inhabited by American Indian tribes. It was at the foot of Mount Rainier, which the Indians called "Tahoma."
- For millennia, the ancestors of modern tribes have come to the mountain during the warm seasons to hunt and gather resources. In 1899, the famous conservationist John Muir decided to make a national park on the site of Mount Rainier. Scientists, climbers, conservation groups, local businesses and major railroad companies all saw the potential benefit of this decision.
They united their interests in the campaign, seeing the potential of tourism, the opportunity to develop agriculture, grazing livestock and start mining.
Mount Rainier became the country's fifth national park, and with each subsequent decade, the place has become more and more popular. The American Butler agency invites you to explore Rainier and take a short tour.

- For more sightseeing, we turn onto the Maple Valley Highway, which runs along the Cedar River and passes through Maple Valley.
- Nearby is an old mining town called Black Diamond. No one is mining coal here anymore, but the historical part of the settlement has remained untouched.
- The famous local bakery has been attracting visitors since the beginning of the 20th century. After breakfast of delicious donuts, pancakes and coffee, or for scrambled eggs and bacon, we will go to conquer the mountain.
- We will pass through the towns of Enumclow and Greenwater, where the water will surprise you with a green hue. A couple of times we will stop for a short photo shoot in places where nature takes on especially juicy shades. Keep in mind that the journey will take about 2.5 hours.
