Temecula Wildlife Park and Winery Tour

American Butler Agency Offers You a Tour to the Temecula Wildlife Park and Wineries. Find Out What the Tour Includes in Our Article.

San Diego Zoo and Safari Park

The San Diego Zoo is not only one of the largest in the United States, but it also houses a vast collection of endangered animals. If your feet tire from walking, the zoo offers a 35-minute guided bus tour. There is also the Skyfari aerial tram that takes visitors from one end of the park to the other, providing a bird’s-eye view.

Travelers agree that the San Diego Zoo is the best they have ever visited. Visitors to the park are impressed by the vast number of animals and how close they can get to them. If you want to see even more animals, we can take you to the Safari Park. Here, you can see lions, elephants, cheetahs, as well as meerkats, zebras, gorillas, and bald eagles.

One day is not enough to see everything—the park is truly huge. We recommend bringing good walking shoes, as the distance between individual animals is about a 20-minute walk. Visitors to the Safari Park share similar feelings. We warn you that there may be some inconveniences, but the unique habitats created for the animals are very engaging.

Temecula Valley Wine Country

Temecula enjoys pleasant weather all year round. The climate is often compared to that of the Mediterranean: warm summers and cool winters with relatively little rainfall. The daily weather traditionally brings morning fog, warm midday sun, afternoon Pacific breezes, and cool nights. These conditions are ideal for growing grapes and supporting wineries.

The wines of Temecula Valley reflect the hard work and passion of their creators, regularly earning high ratings from tasters and winning hundreds of national and international awards.

Most wineries in the valley produce only a small amount of each type of wine, which is usually not enough for distribution in stores. Thus, these wines are hard to find in grocery or wine shops and are mainly available to visitors through the winery’s tasting rooms. This means that when you buy a bottle at the winery, you are getting something truly unique! Different soil types significantly affect the quality of the wine. The loamy soil of Temecula Valley benefits grape roots, providing better drainage than silt and clay soils.

What to Expect on the Tour

Have you always dreamed of going on an African safari, but it’s too far away? Now, you can visit a wildlife safari and zoo in San Diego. As part of the tour, after a walk through the wildlife park, we will arrive at the safari park, where you will be offered several ways to spend your time: there are classic caravans, tram rides, or modern safaris where you can ride on a Segway X2.

Regardless of the safari you choose, you will see all kinds of African animals. On 1,800 acres of land, more than 3,500 animals representing 439 species live. We will then leisurely explore Temecula. You will enjoy tastings at three local wineries and learn about the quirky history of the region from our tour guide. Visit Frangipani Estate Winery, Wilson Creek Winery, and Callaway Vineyard and Winery.

The tour follows a scenic route along De Portola with our guide, who will share information about the culture of wine tasting, unique features of the area, the historical significance of the valley in the development of Southern California, and the reasons for the flourishing winemaking in Temecula. The tour ends with tastings of wines sold only within the valley. This beautiful, sophisticated place offers stunning views.
