Excursion to Universal Studios

When was the last time you felt like the hero of a movie? Not just a viewer, not just a tour participant — but a true hero, with a thrill in your chest, adrenaline rushing through your veins, and goosebumps from the excitement of meeting your favorite characters? If it’s been a while — then Universal Studios Orlando is exactly where you need to be.

This is not just an amusement park. It’s an entire cinematic universe where scenes from legendary films and TV shows come to life. Here, Darth Vader might casually walk past you, and Mario from Nintendo might challenge you to a race. Kids, adults, and the inner children of adults all meet here — and they all smile the same way.

Universal Studios offers over 100 attractions, themed zones, shows, dining spots, and cinematic installations. You’ll enjoy a rich tour program organized by the American Butler team — complete with full support, transfers, free time, and a Russian-speaking guide.

From Humble Film Studio to World-Class Theme Park Empire

Universal Studios Florida officially opened its gates on June 7, 1990. It was originally conceived as a working film studio — a place where filmmakers could shoot movies and visitors could watch the magic unfold live. This blend of industry and entertainment was a unique concept at the time. But the public was so captivated by the chance to step into the world of cinema that the project quickly evolved into a fully immersive theme park experience.

Since then, Universal Studios has become the beating heart of Orlando’s entertainment scene. Today, it’s part of a larger resort complex operated by NBCUniversal, which includes the thrilling Islands of Adventure, the tropical waterpark Volcano Bay, and the vibrant CityWalk — a lively promenade filled with shops, restaurants, and live entertainment. This entire destination has become a magnet for millions of tourists from around the globe, constantly evolving with new attractions and groundbreaking technology.

Over the years, the concept has transformed. Today, it’s not just about showcasing moviemaking — it’s about *living* it. Ride the Hogwarts Express, escape rampaging dinosaurs in Jurassic World, flee from Transformers, or explore the animated streets of Springfield with The Simpsons — all in one incredible place.

What Awaits You: Zones & Attractions

The park is divided into themed zones — each one like a separate chapter in the story of cinema. Below is an in-depth look at each area and its main highlights:

  • Hollywood
A stylish stroll through a retro version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, complete with neon lights and vintage décor. Don’t miss "The Bourne Stuntacular" — an explosive live stunt show — or the haunted horror maze inspired by classic thrillers.
  • Production Central
Welcome to the world of childhood! This is where cartoon heroes like the Minions, Shrek, and Donkey greet you. A crowd favorite is the hilarious 4D ride "Despicable Me Minion Mayhem", perfect for kids and adults alike.
  • New York
A detailed replica of the iconic big city, with brick buildings, fire hydrants, and yellow cabs. The star attraction is "Revenge of the Mummy" — a high-speed indoor rollercoaster through the dark tombs of ancient Egypt.
  • San Francisco
This West Coast-inspired zone features seaside vibes, themed cafes, and of course, "Fast & Furious — Supercharged", where roaring engines and high-octane action bring the movie franchise to life.
  • World Expo
Perfect for sci-fi lovers. Test your aim by zapping aliens on "Men in Black: Alien Attack" or buckle up for the chaotic 4D mayhem of "The Simpsons Ride", where Springfield comes to life.
  • Harry Potter World
The most magical corner of the park. Explore a life-size Diagon Alley, shop at Ollivanders, nibble on enchanted sweets, and brave "Escape from Gringotts" — a stunning thrill ride beneath the wizard bank. You can also catch the Hogwarts Express here and travel to the second park.
  • Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone
A cozy family-friendly area with splash zones, playgrounds, and live kid shows. There’s a mini amusement park for little ones — and you might even run into Woody Woodpecker himself for hugs and photos!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the only place in the world where you can board the real Hogwarts Express — a train that links both parks (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure). It’s more than a ride — it’s a magical journey full of surprises.
