Universal Hollywood Studios Theme Park

Universal Studios is one of the most successful theme park networks in the world and has many branches around the world, from the USA to Japan. It offers rides, trips and excursions.

The attraction is divided into two zones at different levels, connected by a series of escalators called Starway. These areas are known as the Upper and Lower Sites. In 2016, Universal received 8,086,000 guests, ranking 15th in the world and 9th among North America parks.

The studio has several types of entertainment that are located at different levels, which are connected by a series of escalators and filled with many attractions.

Amusement Park History

On March 15, 1915, Universal founder Karl Lemml opened his 230-acre ranch. Here he offered visitors the opportunity to take a walk and look at the shoot. The tour provided a small additional profit to the film studio until they began to add sound to their films. Lammle had to close access so that the noisy audience would not interfere with the filming.

Universal reopened its site to visitors in 1961. Each visitor rode a sightseeing tram with stops to see a collection of costumes, stroll through the stars' dressing rooms and watch stunt shows.

• A flash flood scene was added in 1968, a collapsing bridge in 1974 and an ice tunnel in 1975.
• In 1976, they built what will become the largest tourist attraction — the "Jaws" attraction. He created a template for future high-budget tours based on the Universal films.
• In 1986, they installed the King Kong animatronic statue, the largest in the world at that time.
• June 1, 2008 there was a serious fire. Due to the low water pressure in the firehouse, most of the studio and attractions were destroyed. Recovery took several years.

• Wizarding world of harry potter

This is a motion simulator for an exact copy of the interior of Hogwarts Castle. Guests put on 3D glasses and follow Harry’s travels, spinning and turning 360 degrees along a raised track.

The only difference is that this one is open year-round and recreates scenes from all seasons of the show. Visitors not only observe what is happening, but also immerse themselves in it, acting as survivors of the apocalypse.

This entertainment is not for the squeamish. Although it has a PG-13 rating, it can impress people several times older.

• The simpsons ride

The action takes place inside a dome with a diameter of 80 feet, with simulated movement and effects that make you feel like you are moving around an amusement park in a cartoon style.

You will feel that you are climbing, falling and turning quickly. The vehicle itself bends, rotates and shakes. It is like a roller coaster, although it is not fully them.
