Nova University offers many grants and scholarships for gifted students and is known for supporting its students and providing a supportive learning environment. In addition, the educational institution has large and modernly equipped libraries. The Alvin Sherman Library and Research and the Information Technology Center are the largest. There are also many smaller libraries.

Admission to the University is based on the results of passing school tests, as well as marks obtained during the entrance examinations. It should be noted that the number of foreigners among the students of Nova University reaches 50%.

Nova University has developed several projects during which students have the opportunity to listen to speakers from among famous people. So, for more than 50 years of NSU history, well-known personalities in the United States and beyond have been heard: Jack Kevorkian, Vanessa L. Williams, Ehud Barak, Jason Taylor, Janet Reno, Alice Milano, Ivanka Trump and even the 14th Dalai Lama.
