Seattle City Tour
What Makes Seattle Special?
If American cities had personalities, Seattle would be the enigmatic genius — the one who brews the perfect cup of coffee, writes iconic music, and stays humble despite its greatness. This is the city that gave the world Starbucks, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam, built the futuristic Space Needle, and embraced the rain like no other place on Earth. But to truly understand Seattle, one cup of coffee won’t be enough — you have to see, hear, and feel its energy.
Seattle is a melting pot of cultures, home to lush public parks, green residential neighborhoods, and some of the most breathtaking natural landscapes in the U.S. It is surrounded by the expansive waters of Puget Sound, the rugged Olympic Mountains to the west, and the towering presence of Mount Rainier, one of the most striking peaks in the country.
On our Seattle City Tour, you’ll take in stunning views from Kerry Park, marvel at the Space Needle, explore Columbia Center, and discover even more hidden gems. We’ll explore the city's museums, trendy districts, and stunning architecture, giving you a deeper appreciation of Seattle’s unique charm.
American Butler invites you on a journey through Seattle — one that will introduce you to a quieter, more serene side of the U.S., where life moves at its own thoughtful, unhurried pace.

Interesting facts about the Space Needle
What You’ll See
- Pike Place Market
Pike Place Market has been the heart of Seattle for over a hundred years. It is a great place to start exploring the city. Covering more than nine acres, the market is a melting pot of different cultures, traditions, and flavors. More than 85 farmers from nearby areas supply fresh produce daily, and 225 small businesses showcase various crafts and artisanal goods. - Kerry Park
Located on the south slope of Queen Anne Hill, Kerry Park is the perfect spot for breathtaking, postcard-worthy views of Seattle. On a clear day, you can see Mount Rainier in the background, Elliott Bay and Bainbridge Island with their picturesque waterfront views, and the Space Needle rising through the morning mist. The original landowners donated the park to the city to ensure that everyone could enjoy the stunning Seattle skyline. - Sky View Observatory
Perched on the 73rd floor of Columbia Center on Fifth Avenue, Sky View Observatory offers incredible panoramic views of Seattle. At 902 feet (275 meters) high, it is the tallest public observatory on the West Coast. Initially, the observatory provided a 270-degree view, but after a renovation in 2013, it was expanded to a full 360-degree experience. The observatory is also available for private events, corporate gatherings, parties, and weddings. - Woodland Park Zoo
Woodland Park Zoo has been a key part of Seattle's culture since 1899. It was originally the estate of Guy Phinney, a wealthy Englishman who wanted his own private garden. Today, it is home to the largest collection of animals in Washington State. Nearly 1,000 animals from over 300 species live in the zoo, including more than 40 endangered species. The zoo also features a vast botanical collection with 92,000 plants representing 1,300 species. - Space Needle
The Space Needle is Seattle’s most famous landmark. This 605-foot (185-meter) observation tower, located on Broad Street, was built for the 1962 World’s Fair. Despite its sleek and delicate appearance, the Space Needle was engineered to withstand powerful earthquakes and hurricane-force winds, making it both an architectural marvel and a symbol of resilience. - Discovery Park
Discovery Park is the largest park in Seattle, covering 534 acres (2 million square meters). It occupies most of the former Fort Lawton military base. From here, visitors can enjoy views of Puget Sound as well as the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. The park features numerous trails, open meadows, forests, sand dunes, sea cliffs, and much more. Amenities include picnic tables, a children's playground, and tennis courts. - Smith Tower
Smith Tower is a 38-story skyscraper in Pioneer Square. It was the first high-rise building in the city, standing at 148 meters, and remained one of the tallest towers outside of New York City until the Space Needle was built in 1962. Named after its financier, Lyman Smith, who made his fortune in the typewriter business, the tower features antique brass elevator doors, onyx stair rails, and intricately carved ceilings in the bar. - Pioneer Square
In 1852, the founders of Seattle chose the location that is now Pioneer Square as the heart of their settlement. By the early 20th century, the original wooden buildings had been replaced with grand Renaissance Revival-style structures. The district is worth a walking tour, with its rich architecture, diverse restaurants and cafes, bookstores, and art galleries.
