Morningside history
Morningside is a city and neighborhood of the Upper East Side and is located in the historic part of Miami. It is located east of Biscayne Boulevard and north of Bay Point Estates, which is adjacent to it and is another distinct neighborhood.
Morningside is Miami's first historic district. It received this status in 1984 due to its significant importance as a historical and architectural monument. Most of the buildings were built in 1922-41. and reflect the variety of manifestations of such architectural styles as Art Deco and Mediterranean.

What to do in Morningside
The best weekend getaway in all of Morningside is Morningside Park. This is a cozy corner near Biscayne Bay, where many activities are available.
